Torin's Story

Torin's love of traditional metal-smithing with silver & gold combined with years designing costume jewelry; have lead to a fabulous freedom of expression in Jewelry

Her youthful spirit, comes through in the jewelry she makes.

Torin uses lots of color and is up for challenge of re-imagining treasure into jewelry and making it wearable NOW.

Torin hopes when you wear her jewelry you will tap into your own sense of childlike awe, wonder and whimsy.

Inspiration comes in many forms: being a super visual person, and hands on learner, with a potential to overthink, I am immersed in the creative process, in my home, with friends and family. Inspiration comes through daily routines as well as through art, history, nature, landscape, sea & sky, friends, crafting, animals, birds, interior decorating, travel and day to day life. with my family. 

Torin uses vintage glass beads & bits from around the world, she loves their unique qualities and vivid colors.

Torin sees beauty in materials that others may overlook. She loves to be inventive  combining high & low, elevating it all to wearable artisan jewelry.

Torin makes jewelry in her home studio, where she lives with her husband, 2 teenage boys and their cat Kevin
